OneClick ECU Remap For Porsche Now Available.
Press a button your Porsche has gained up to 60bhp, press again and it's back to standard!
AmD have just launched their "OneClick" pocket-sized serial-port programmer for DBW Porsches, Porsche 996, Turbo 996, and Boxster.
Branded "OneClick", the system is a revolutionary new tuning solution that puts performance re-mapping into the hands of the owner. On first being plugged into the car's diagnostic socket, one press of a button takes an exact copy of the standard E.C.U content, and stores it within the OneClick module. Another press and the module replaces the standard map with a performance map. The procedure is entirely reversible so that the owner may swap between performance map and standard map at any time, without a trip to the tuner. There is no need to open or tamper with the ECU - a huge bonus for 996 models where the car needs to be almost taken apart to access the ECU. No PC or other programming software/hardware is necessary. Power gains are in the region of 20bhp - 60bhp depending on whether the engine is normally aspirated or turbocharged.
What makes OneClick unique as a method of direct tuning via the serial port, is that the standard content, when fired back into the ECU is completely standard and unmodified in any way. Other methods of direct serial port tuning add extra software to the E.C.U code for purposes such as identification or map switching.
Dealer service equipment will find such changes and occasionally be unable to interrogate or reflash the E.C.U at all, thus invalidating the Warranty! NOT with AmD OneClick though.
Programming via the diagnostic port using OneClick solves the quandary of all owners who want extra power and performance, but without compromising their warranty.
OneClick is currently available for: - Porsche 996, 996 Turbo, Boxster
- BMW New Mini
- BMW 330D diesel range
- Mercedes diesel
- European VW/Audi PD diesel
- European ME7 petrol engine range (including S3 and Audi TT)
