Audi R8 and TTS
This weekend AmD and Milltek are taking part in Audi Driver International at Castle Combe race circuit on Saturday 11th October, see www.audidriverinternational.co.uk for details of this world famous Audi event.
We will then making the long trip over to Assen in Holland overnight for the Autovisie Time Attack event on Sunday.
Milltek will be running their Audi R8 and Audi TT-S track cars with the aim of winning the Autovisie Time Attack event. Racing driver and owner of AmD Technik- one of Milltek's top UK distributors - Shaun Hollamby will be driving the Audi R8 in the Pro Street category and Phil Millington, owner of Milltek will be driving the Audi TT-S in the Semi-Pro Street category.
The concept of the event is that competitors get 25 minutes to practice and then do a single timed lap of the racing circuit. The time they set will determine whether they go through to the next round. During each round, only 1 lap is allowed and eventually it is down to the two fastest cars in each class to decide the winner.
There are four classes in total: Semi Pro Street, Pro Street, Pro Non Street, and Small Factory.
The Audi R8 runs an AmD remap, Milltek exhaust, Pagid brake pads and Dunlop tyres.
Dutch Milltek distributor Xtreme Tuning will also be entering the event with their SEAT Leon Supercopa in the Pro Non Street class.
